David Hanna

Independent Financial Adviser

As the managing Partner of Hanna Hillen Financial Services David has been a driving force in the Financial Services Industry for almost 40 years. Throughout this time he has established a proven record for spearheading cutting edge solutions for both Corporate and Personal financial needs.

Together with Peter Hillen, his business colleague of many years, in 1994, David Co-Founded the much-respected Estate Agency and Property Management Business of Hanna Hillen Estates which continues to benefit from his input, support and direction.

As the Founding Chair of the Altnaveigh House Community Initiative, David was at the forefront of the breaking down of Political and Sectarian Divisions within the Greater Newry Area – particularly in terms of ‘peace and reconciliation’ whereby he was instrumental in helping the Region lead the way in the embracing of the Government’s ‘Shared Future’ Initiative. For his commitment to these community initiatives David was awarded the MBE in 2004.

In 2006, as President of Newry Chamber of Commerce and Trade, David helped to oversee the launch of the ‘Greater Newry Vision Initiative’. A wholly collaborative approach to the Social and Economic Development of the Region, this initiative incorporated the Private, Public and Voluntary Sectors which, at that time, represented a unique approach to Regional Development.

As managing Partner, David remains actively involved in Team Hanna Hillen’s delivery of Financial Planning Solutions to its wide Clientele.

David commands a wealth of experience when sourcing dependable financial solutions specifically designed to meet individual needs. The well-known maxim ‘where there’s a will, there’s a way’ aptly describes David’s approach to life as he continues to drive the business forward through innovative and exciting times.

Surprisingly, David still finds time to relax with his family through a mixture of extracurricular activities such as music, songs and ballads.
